A resurfaced video has shown David Harbour joking about cheating on Lily Allen, days after the singer opened up about his infidelity on her new album, West End Girl.
The video in question is from 2023, and sees the then-married couple open up their home as part of Architectural Digest’s [AD] house tour series on YouTube.
While opening their door, Harbour seems to jokingly mistake the production crew for a previous lover, looking at the camera while saying, “What the hell are you doing here? Last time I was single … I have a family now”.
Allen is seen behind the Stranger Things star giggling at the joke, before the pair welcomed the crew into their home.
While it’s not known exactly where she’s referring to, Allen does mention the pair’s home on West End Girl, telling a mistress on “Madeline” — a song that recently prompted its suppposed namesake to come forward — that she’s “not convinced that he didn’t fuck you in our house”.
We can’t know for sure whether that house is the one featured in the couple’s AD tour, but the bombshells on West End Girl have prompted fans to revisit the clip… and naturally, the joke about cheating has left many viewers less than impressed.
“David’s welcoming intro joke aged like milk,” one user wrote on YouTube, while another said they “felt the urge to revisit the scene of the crime” after listening to Allen’s album.
Others joked that “Madeline was hiding inside a cupboard the entire video”, or questioned, “where’s the body language expert’s analysis at?”.

The resurfaced clip is far from the only tidbit that has emerged since Allen’s revelation-filled album, with 34-year-old costume designer Natalie Tippet recently claiming she is the mistress mentioned on the songs “Tennis” and “Madeline”.
“Of course I’ve heard the song,” Tippet — who worked with Harbour on the 2021 movie We Have A Ghost — told the Daily Mail. “But I have a family and things to protect.”
The release of West End Girl comes just ahead of next month’s premiere of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, which some fans have taken as a deliberate timing strategy on Allen’s part.

Whatever the case, I doubt the AD clip will be the last juicy morsel to crop up in the wake of West End Girl.
After all, there’s a song on the album called “Pussy Palace” that mentions butt plugs, so at this rate I half-expect the butt plug itself to come forward with a press statement.
