David Gest was found dead at a London hotel room exactly five years ago and reports at the time suggested he'd spent his final 48 hours completely alone.
The music producer-turned-TV star's body was discovered on April 12 2016, sending his fans and famous friends into mourning.
He was 62 at the time of his death and had been battling a number of debilitating health problems.
David had been living in London and had set up home in a luxury suite at the former Four Seasons Hotel in Canary Wharf.
He appeared on Celebrity Big Brother at the start of the year, and returned to the hotel after pulling out of the show due to an infection.
During his time in the house, David appeared to become increasingly unwell and spent a lot of his time in the set's spare room recuperating.

His health issues led to a massive misunderstanding when the other housemates mistakenly thought he'd died, only for them to discover he was very much alive.
Just weeks after leaving the show due to medical reasons, tragedy struck when the star's body was found on the floor of his hotel suite.
Security staff are believed to have entered his room after he hadn't been seen in two days.

A source told The Sun at the time: "Security staff found him after he had not been out of his room for days."
Police found there were no suspicious circumstances, and his death was attributed to natural causes with reports suggesting he'd suffered a stroke.
David had been found dead on the Tuesday, and the last reported sighting of him had been on the previous Wednesday when he was pictured on the London Underground heading back towards Canary Wharf.
Reports suggest David had been taking medication for a variety of conditions, and is believed to have seen a doctor in the days before his death after complaining of problems with his chest.

A source said at the time: "He was taking some really strong medication because he was suffering from nasty chest problems that just wouldn’t go away.
"He also suffered from high blood pressure, which he had special tablets for, and had been on sleeping pills for years because he suffered from insomnia - he always slept at weird times.
"He saw a doctor within the last week because of his chest, and felt so unwell he had to postpone lots of plans, but he seemed to think he was on the mend."
