Goalkeepers have a strong bond and Manchester United's David de Gea has sent a classy message of support for Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris.
The France World Cup winner had to be substituted early into this afternoon's Premier League encounter against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Spurs were just two minutes into the clash at the AMEX Stadium when disaster struck for the Spurs goalkeeper.
Lloris made a huge error as he dropped the ball, leading to former Brentford striker Neal Maupay capitalising and giving the Seagulls a 1-0 lead.
Initial suggestions are that Lloris has suffered a dislocated arm following an awkward landing, with the worst fears being that he might have suffered a broken arm.
All fans can do the at the moment is wish the stopper a speedy recovery.
And de Gea is in the same boat.
Taking to social media, the United no.1 had a simple message for a fellow member of the goalkeeping union.
It has since been confirmed on BT Sport that Lloris has been taken to hospital and Spurs should provide an update in due course.
Spurs have since gone 2-0 down with Lloris' replacement Paolo Gazzaniga unable to keep out an effort from Aaron Connolly.
