David de Gea's clean sheet in the victory over Leicester City on Sunday means that the goalkeeper has now recorded the joint-highest clean sheets for Manchester United.
The Spanish shot-stopper made two spectacular saves for Erik ten Hag's side in the 3-0 victory over the Foxes at Old Trafford, with Marcus Rashford (2) and Jadon Sancho both on the scoresheet for the home side. De Gea is now level with Reds legend Peter Schmeichel on 180 clean sheets, having made 521 appearances for the club since he arrived from Atletico Madrid in June 2011.
It took the 32-year-old, who also holds the 10th-most appearances for United, more matches than Schmeichel to reach the milestone but the goalkeeper will, without a doubt, go on to smash the record before he leaves Old Trafford.

De Gea has been in superb form for Ten Hag's men this term, with only Newcastle United goalkeeper Nick Pope registering more clean sheets (12) than the Spaniard so far this season. His clean sheet against the Foxes was his 140th in the top-flight and 10th this season. He made a stunning save to deny Harvey Barnes in the first half on Sunday, before making another great stop from Kelechi Iheanacho with the game still goalless.
He also bagged a record fourth Players' Player of the Year award last campaign and played every single minute of United's 2021/22 Premier League season. The shot-stopper has won the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League during his time at Old Trafford.
Having now matched the same tally as fellow United legend Schmeichel, De Gea will be aiming to surpass the Dane on Thursday night, with the Reds welcoming Barcelona to Old Trafford for the second leg of our Europa League play-off tie.
