David De Gea downgraded again in Manchester United FIFA 19 update

Manchester United's poor recent form continued on Sunday, as Chelsea came away with a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

The game's major talking point was Marcos Alonso's goal for the Blues, with David De Gea making a mistake which allowed his fellow countryman to score.

After his error against Barcelona and subsequent below-par performance against Everton, this latest mistake compounds what has been a poor month for the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper.

EA Sports have reflected this in their latest FIFA 19 update.

Along with De Gea, a number of other United players have been given downgrades in FIFA 19.

Here are the latest changes to the Manchester United squad on FIFA as of April 29 2019.

David De Gea - Downgrade

De Gea has been United's best player for the past few years, consistently bailing the Red Devils out in difficult moments and winning the team points on his own with terrific saves.

However, the Spaniard is making a habit of making errors, with his latest resulting in Chelsea's equaliser on Sunday.

As such, he's been downgraded on FIFA 19.

The goalkeeper's GK positioning has been downgraded from 89 to 87, but he remains the best goalkeeper in the Premier League in-game.

How long can it stay that way?

Nemanja Matic - Downgrade

Matic, along with many other United players, has had a disappointing season.

The Serbian's stamina has been downgraded from 80 to 77.

Alexis Sanchez - Downgrade

After injuries and poor form, Sanchez has now returned to United's first team squad, hoping to get his United career back on track.

But, that hasn't stopped EA Sports downgrading him on FIFA 19.

His stamina has also been downgraded from 80 to 78.

Scott McTominay - Upgrade

McTominay is one of the few United players who can hold their heads high this season.

The young Scot has shown a lot of maturity and promise with his performances.

He's been given a big upgrade on FIFA 19.

The midfielder's ball control (74-75), dribbling (69-70), heading accuracy (72-74), interceptions (73-75), jumping (66-69), long shots (61-64), short passing (75-76), sliding tackle (67-69), stamina (75-77), standing tackle (72-74) and strength (79-81) has been upgraded.

This has resulted in his current ability rising from 74 to 75, with his potential rising from 81 to 83.
