David Cameron, Keir Starmer and Alan Cumming to appear on Laura Kuenssberg show

IN the second Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg show of 2024, Keir Starmer and David Cameron will both appear.

The Prime Minister appeared on the BBC’s flagship political programme last week where he was asked about a range of topics, including the Government’s plan to send migrants to Rwanda, NHS waiting times in England, and the upcoming General Election.

Many have since taken to social media to criticise the Prime Minister for his interview, in which he repeatedly told the host to make sure she asked Starmer similar questions when he appears on the show.

Who is on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg this week?

Kuenssberg shared the guest lineup on Twitter/X on Saturday afternoon, writing: "A big show for you tomorrow morning".

Labour leader Keir Starmer, described by Kuenssberg as the "man seen to be prime minister in waiting", will follow Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's appearance last week. General Election policy will likely be top of the agenda, alongside the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and recent action in Yemen, which Starmer has said he backs.

Former prime minister and current Foreign Secretary David Cameron will also appear. This follows the strikes in Yemen as well as his appearance at the Foreign Affairs committee in which SNP MP Brendon O'Hara grilled him on if Israel has broken international humanitarian law in Palestine.

On the panel is Scots actor Alan Cumming, on his media round promoting his solo show, Alan Cumming Is Not Acting His Age.

Independent editor Geordie Greig will join Cumming, alongside journalist Isabel Oakeshott.

Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer starting from 9am until 10am.
