Prepare to be heroes - if just for this Saturday as a big Bowie event is inviting fans to join the party at Wylam Brewery in Newcastle.
Following the sell-out success of the past two years, Transatlantic Bowie will be back for a third time this weekend to mark the anniversary of David Bowie's death.
The live show is by the Transatlantic Ensemble, a top selection of London session musicians who pay homage to some of the greatest artists and albums around, and the celebration of the music created by the late star - who died on January 10, 2016 in a year that saw several shock celebrity deaths - tends to be fans' favourite.
The talented ensemble will be back in the city on Saturday with a show which has slightly changed the tone of what initially was more a commemoration, having dropped a couple of songs from Bowie's Blackstar album and replaced them with hits from some of his more upbeat albums.
Transatlantic Bowie will take place at the brewery in Exhibition Park on Saturday, January 11 from 7pm.
This year's all-dancing night is set to be another rocking success as it will feature all Bowie's hits played by the band who will be bringing their full brass section to do full justice to his back-catalogue.
And those who have not previously experienced the event are being told not to expect any look-alike tribute - this is all about the Heroes singer's music.
