David Blough offers $250 to anyone who can win SB with him at QB in ‘Madden 20’

If you think you’re good at “Madden NFL,” Browns rookie QB David Blough has a way for you to prove it.

Blough, an undrafted free agent from Purdue, received the lowest overall rating — 48 –of any quarterback in the freshly released “Madden NFL 20” ratings. He labeled it “comically low.” Instead of griping about it, Blough put a different, more competitive spin on the humbling evaluation of his skills.

He posted a standing bet to anyone who can win a Super Bowl with him as the starting quarterback — and earn Blough the league MVP — on the highest difficulty setting. Pull it off, show him the proof and Blough will pay up $250.

Blough has received positive reviews during his brief time with the Browns, enough that he has a chance to beat out Garrett Gilbert for the No. 3 QB gig. It’s cool that he embraces his poor rating. He’ll get a chance to make it go higher in future updates through training camp and the preseason.
