Young footballers from Edinburgh were left stunned after David Beckham surprised them with a brilliant video message during their end-of-season dinner.
The Manchester United hero took time out his busy schedule to record a short clip wishing the Spartans 08 team well, adding that he'll try and watch them play the next time he's in the city.
Beckham said: "Hi Spartans Reds. It's David Beckham here. I just wanted to say I hope that you enjoy your player of the year dinner tonight. Maybe one day when I'm in Edinburgh next I can come see you play.
"In the meantime keep working hard guys. Have a great night."
Spartans shared the video on their social media, and it went down a treat.
