David Beckham supported by 'proud' family as he launches new television series but Brooklyn stays silent

David Beckham has been flooded with support from his family as they joined him at the premiere of his new television series. The former footballer appeared alongside his wife, Victoria, and their children at the event which was held in London's Leicester Square on Tuesday night (November 1).

The series, titled Save Our Squad with David Beckham, sees David return to his East London roots to mentor the under-14’s Westward Boys, a young, grassroots team who are at the bottom of their league and facing relegation. And the league – The Echo Premier League – is the same one that Beckham played in as a young boy.

Sharing a photo of her alongside her husband and their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper Seven on Instagram, Victoria, 48, wrote: "I couldn’t be prouder tonight of @DavidBeckham and his INCREDIBLE @studio99 team. I was totally blown away and emotional this evening watching the screening of #SaveOurSquad."

She added: "See it on @DisneyPlus from November 9th xx VB." The Spice Girl turned fashion designer also shared a photo of herself on the blue carpet, donning a high-neck black shirt with mini skirt and over-the-knee boots as she posed alongside a poster for David's new show.

"Amazing night celebrating @davidbeckahm, @disneyplus and #saveoursquad! I couldn't be prouder xx VB," she typed alongside the image. Members of the youth team joined the Beckhams for the premiere and David shared pictures and videos of them on the blue carpet together.

Fans could see them all suited and booted surrounding the ex England and United star as he typed: "An incredibly special evening at the #SaveOurSquad screening in Leicester Square tonight. Great to see the @westwardboysfc again.. all episodes out November 9th on @disneyplus."

Victoria continued her unwavering support for her man by commenting under the post: "This really is incredible!!! I’m so so proud of Studio 99!!" And David's sons also backed their dad's new venture on social media. Sharing a photo of the family moment on the blue carpet, Rome penned on Instagram: "Proud of you dad can't wait for the rest of the series."

Cruz shared a snap to his Instagram Story showing his dad on stage discussing his new series with former footballer turned pundit and TV host, Alex Scott. "@davidbeckham WOW I'm so proud of you Dad. I love you so much," he wrote with two red heart emojis.

Notably absent from the event was David and Vicotira's eldest son, Brooklyn, who lives in America with his wife Nicola Peltz. His absence comes after Nicola once again addressed rumours of a feud between herself and her mother-in-law, Vicotira. The American actress, 27, married Brooklyn, 23, in Palm Beach in April.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, ther Transformers star said: "It's not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, 'feud, feud, feud'. I don't know why they say feud. I mean, maybe they picked up on something? And now they're labelling it 'feud'?" She added: "No family is perfect!"

Cruz also shared his pride (Victoria Beckham Instagram)

It has previously been claimed that the tension between the pair started when Nicola didn't where a Victoria Beckham designed wedding dress for her big day. She instead opted to don a Valentino Couture gown.

Addressing the claims in the same interview, Nicola said: "I think it all started, and I've said this before, because I didn't end up wearing Victoria's wedding dress. But the real truth is, I really, really wanted to wear it and I thought it was so beautiful that Brooklyn's mom got to make that for me! And I was really excited to wear it! And I didn't end up wearing it."

Elsewhere in the chat, Nicola called Brooklyn's father David "a legend", and his 11-year-old sister Harper "the sweetest", adding that she always wanted a little sister as she has one older sister and six brothers.
