David Beckham has been spotted in an Edinburgh restaurant as he continues his food tour of Scotland.
The former England superstar was pictured alongside celebrity chef Tom Kitchin as he enjoyed an array of fine dining dishes at The Kitchin in Leith .
And the 44-year-old praised the staff at the Michelin starred restaurant for what he described as an “amazing” lunch.
Writing on Instagram, the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend said: “Thanks to Tom and the team. Thank you so much for an amazing lunch.”
The footballer was reported to be in top form with the staff according to Tom Kitchin .
He commented: “This is how we roll on Thursday lunch in Leith. Great to welcome back our friend David Beckham who was as charming as ever.
“Thanks for taking the time to say hello to all the team (very classy).”
David Beckham has been in Scotland visiting his Haig Club whisky distiller in Leven, Fife.
Staff at Glasgow’s Crabshakk restaurant were stunned when the former midfielder popped into to sample some of the Finnieston spot’s seafood delights.
Posting on his Instagram on Wednesday, he said that it was “great to be back in Scotland”.
