David Beckham is used to playing in some of the country's biggest football stadiums.
But the former Manchester United star took to the stands on his own on Wednesday night at a non-league football ground in Somerset.
Becks was down in Clevedon at the Everyone Active Stadium to cheer on his son Romeo who turned out for Millfield School.
The father-of-four was pictured standing alone in the stands before getting on to the pitch to meet the players.
But that wasn't before he saw 17-year-old Romeo booked and the team suffer a 5-3 defeat.
Following the game, opposition Clevedon Town tweeted: "David Beckham it was an absolute pleasure having you watch our U18s tonight.
"The boys were made over you took the time for a photo. Massive thanks to Millfield for the friendly and all the best guys."
And it wasn't just the match where the footballing legend was spotted.
Local resident Nick Wilson bumped into David at Tesco ahead of the game, and the 44-year-old even managed to grab a quick selfie.
He said: "I was just very shocked to see him in a local petrol station buying some snacks!
"Although I'm a Liverpool supporter I've always followed him - and everyone loves Beckham.
"He was very approachable and didn't mind me asking for a selfie."
David was taking time out from his stint in Miami where he is the current president of Inter Miami CF.
But he still has plenty of ties to the UK as the co-owner of Salford City.
