Sir David Beckham is launching a new fashion label inspired by his daughter Harper following in the stylish footsteps of his designer wife, Victoria.
The former England captain’s holding firm, DB Ventures Ltd, has filed trademarks in both the UK and US for a new clothing brand featuring a distinctive logo of seven vertical lines, with the final stroke slanting to the right.
The number seven has long been symbolic for the football star.
It was his shirt number at Manchester United, Harper’s middle name and even appears as a Roman numeral tattoo on his arm.
Seven has always held special meaning for the Beckhams, tied to luck and personal milestones, Harper was born in the seventh month, weighing 7lb 10oz, at 07:55am in Los Angeles.
Documents filed with the UK’s Intellectual Property Office show Beckham has secured rights to sell “clothing, footwear, [and] headgear” under the new name.

According to The Mirror, the trademark has already been approved in the UK and will remain protected for ten years to prevent counterfeits.
In the US, filings with the Patent and Trademark Office reportedly seek additional approval to sell a full apparel range, including “dresses, jumpsuits, swimwear, scarves, gloves, hosiery, and underwear”. The application is believed to be currently pending.
The move marks Sir David’s latest step in expanding his lifestyle empire, which spans fashion, fragrance and TV production.
His commercial company, DB Ventures, continues to thrive, generating millions in dividends through global partnerships with brands such as Stella Artois and Hugo Boss.
News of his new venture comes as Victoria prepares for the release of her Netflix documentary, Victoria Beckham, which will be available to stream from Thursday, October 9.
The 51-year-old Spice Girls star will show fans her journey "from the teenager who restyled her school uniform, to the Spice Girl who fought to be accepted by a notoriously demanding fashion industry,” according to Netflix.

In a snippet from the docuseries, Victoria broke down while discussing the struggles of running a fashion empire and tearfully revealed she was once “millions in the red”.
Her husband David also admitted in the trailer that the financial pressures left him “in a panic”.
The series will feature never-before-seen footage from inside the Beckham household as well as exclusive interviews with close friends including designer Tom Ford and actress Eva Longoria.
All four of the couple’s children appear in the documentary. Despite ongoing speculation about her relationship with eldest son Brooklyn, 26, Victoria has insisted he remains part of the project.
