English football legend Sir David Beckham has shouted out his son, Brooklyn Beckham, amidst rumours of a heavily heated family feud between his eldest son and the rest of his famous family.
Over the weekend, the former Manchester United icon was awarded a knighthood by King Charles. Naturally, the huge milestone in Beckham’s career was celebrated by his family, with fashion designer and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham sharing a lovely Instagram tribute, penning that the 50-year-old had “always been [her] knight in shining armour”.
In response to the touching tribute, Sir Beckham wrote a comment, shouting out everyone in his family, even his rumoured estranged son, Brooklyn.
“I love you all @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven,” he wrote.
The short and sweet message from the footballer comes shortly after rumours of a Beckham family feud.
To give you a quick summary, rumours of a feud began to bubble when Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were notably absent from Sir Beckham’s 50th birthday festivities.
More fuel was added to the feud fire when inside sources claimed that the nepobaby duo “pulled out” of the 2025 Met Gala because they wanted to be at Sir Beckham’s 50th. However, the photographer/chef was allegedly upset that Nicola was being blamed for the fallout.
“They cancelled plans to attend the Met because they really intended to be at David’s party on Saturday,” the insider told UK publication The Sun.
“But Brooklyn is really upset that blame for the rift has been levelled at Nicola.
“She has never told him what to do and has been nothing but supportive — she’s a loyal wife.”
While their absence from the Met and the birthday shindigs were a possible indicator of a family feud, whispers of a Beckham family fall-out were first reported in early April, with TMZ claiming Brooklyn and Romeo Beckham were butting heads over Romeo’s new girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, who was previously linked to Brooklyn (phew, that was a lot of names).
According to PEOPLE, Kim and Romeo have split “within the past few weeks”, with an inside source claiming that Brooklyn and Kim never dated.
While Kim has been rumoured to be a factor in the beef, it was also reported that the feud might’ve stemmed from Nicola and Victoria’s clash in personalities — which has been reported since Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 nuptials.
While no one in the family has publicly addressed these rumours, netizens have interpreted some social media moves from Brooklyn and Romeo to be shade. It was also reported that Brooklyn and Nicola sought help from lawyers amid the rumours.
But with this olive branch of a comment, it looks like Sir Beckham is doing all he can to fix up this alleged fam bam feud.
