David Beckham has told Lionel Messi he's "joined the family" after securing his move to PSG.
The Argentine was unable to stay at Barcelona due to financial complications and the French giants moved quick to capture his services.
His arrival in Paris is a huge coup for PSG, who can now boast a front three of Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
Beckham now owns MLS side Inter Miami, who were touted as a potential destination Messi, but in his final days as a player he played at the Parc des Princes.
At that point the club's Qatari owners were looking to put the club on the map, now they are an established force and Beckham believes "exciting times" lie ahead.

He said on Messi's Instagram post: "Congratulations my friend, you have now joined the family. Very exciting times not only for everyone in Paris, but for all of France ..."
Messi is the latest big name to move to Paris as they continue to bolster their ranks.
Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Gini Wijnaldum all arrived for free whilst big money was spent on Achraf Hakimi.
The six-time Ballon d'Or winner is determined to add to his four Champions League wins, with his most recent coming in 2015, and he is confident he can achieve that in Paris.
"This team is ready. There are some new transfers, but they have been close and are ready (to win the Champions League)," he said.
"I have just come here to help. My dream is to win this trophy again and I think Paris is the best place to do so.
He then added on his Nou Camp departure: "It was very complicated to exit Barcelona without knowing where I would go. Barcelona was my home since I was a kid. I knew I’d arrive in a strong team that was aiming to win the Champions League, which I love to win.
"I know my goals and Paris’ goals are the same. I don’t know if we will face Barcelona, it would be very nice to go back, hopefully with fans.
"It would be very strange to play at home, there in Barcelona, in another shirt, but it could happen."
PSG chief Nasser Al-Khalaifi has also defended the club's spending amid accusations of FFP breaches.
He said:" Regarding FFP, we always follow the regulations from day one to the end. We will always follow these regulations. before we do anything, we check with our commercial, financial and legal people.
"We have the capacity to sign him. What Leo brings to the club is huge, which you can see just outside. He is a big asset for the club.
"I hope Leo will not ask for more salary, but what we have is fantastic."
