David Beckham's old Aston Martin AMV8 Volante is up for sale on Auto Trader, prompting a rush of interest in the vintage red wheels once owned by the footballing star.
Julian Wren, Aston Martin Works’ Heritage Director, told Insider the site has been "inundated" with enquiries about the car since the listing went up.
He said: "Having such a famous sporting hero as its previous owner has seen the business inundated with enquiries from both fans of the marque and Mr Beckham alike."
Though the car is already a sought-after model, he said the "excitement around who has previously been sitting behind the steering wheel has taken interest simply to another level."
The Aston Martin AMV8 Volante is listed for a price of £445,000 and boasts "cream leather interiors, deep pile carpets and burr walnut" and an "X Pack engine." The top speed is 168mph.
The Aston Martin was owned by David Beckham for 15 years until 2018. A car lover with a large collection, Beckham even had the Aston Martin shipped out to Spain for his time at Real Madrid.
The value of Beckham's car collection was previously estimated to be around £3 million.
His collection ranges from a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe and Bentley Mulsanne (which, according to Motor1 is often used when David or Victoria are driven to events by a chauffeur) to a classic pale green Land Rover Beckham was spotted driving near his home in the Cotswolds, where he and his family have been based since the stay-at-home order was implemented.
