David Beckham couldn’t resist paying tribute to his “amazing” wife Victoria Beckham on International Women’s Day.
The former professional footballer marked the special day by praising the fashion designer as well as their seven-year-old daughter Harper and his mother Sandra West.
He shared a string of adorable snaps of the stunning trio, one of which showed Victoria picking flowers with Harper while another showed Victoria smiling during an awards ceremony.
The third showed David cuddled up to his mother and a selfie saw him leaning his head lovingly on Victoria.
He captioned the unseen snaps: “Today we celebrate International Women’s Day. I’m so blessed to have these amazing women in my life, they inspire me every single day.
“Happy International Women’s Day to all the inspirational women around the world #IWD.”
Fans hailed the tribute “beautiful” with one branding David and Victoria a “wonderful couple!”
“Always living near the beautiful family, you live great man,” added another.
The sweet post comes after David cracked out the joke book in a bid to play his part in BBC Radio One’s Lol-A-Thon, in aid of Comic Relief.
Speaking to DJs Chris Stark and Scott Mills he said: “Hi Scott and Chris. Best of luck with the Radio One Lol-A-Thon.
“I have a joke for you. What did the elephant say to the naked man?”
He paused before delivering the punchline: “How do you eat with that?”
The crude joke earned David the approval of the hosts, who hailed it “very cheeky”.
