David Beckham mocked by son Romeo as he flexes bulging muscles in sweaty workout snap

David Beckham has left his adoring fans swooning with his latest social media update – but not everyone is impressed.

The football legend, 45, took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon to flex his bulging muscles in a sweaty workout snap.

Becks flaunted his gym-honed physique and rock-hard six-pack as he put his body to the test while doing a set of push-ups.

David appeared to be struggling somewhat as he cast a grimace across his face while concentrating on the gruelling exercises.

He put his tattooed torso on full display as he went topless for the workout snap which saw him don a pair of Adidas joggers.

Alongside the photo, David penned: “I really hate tricep dips as a finisher.”

While the majority of his 65 million followers flocked to gush over the football hunk, David’s son Romeo made it known that he wasn’t overly impressed with his dad’s workout.

Poking fun at his old man, the cheeky chap commented: “Ok big man” underneath David’s latest offering, followed by a laughing emoji.

Elsewhere, one besotted fan gushed: “This is the only thing I needed to see today. How sexy!”.

“I wouldn’t mind helping him with those push-ups,” another cheeky follower quipped.

While a third added: “Wow! He honestly just gets better with age!”.

It comes after the football star completely transformed his appearance for a new malaria awareness advert which sees him age several decades.

The 45-year-old looks as old as looks 70 in the moving video after some digital tampering.

The striking clip sees a silver-haired and bearded version of David tell applauding crowds that they've finally beaten malaria in the year 2050.

It cuts back to the present, with the current Becks, giving some sobering statistics about the deadly disease.
