Sir David Beckham and Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher were among the famous faces celebrating England’s 2-1 World Cup quarter-final victory over Norway.
England will face Argentina in the semi-finals after Jude Bellingham’s brace secured the Three Lions’ place in the last four.
Sir David, who visited the England squad during a training session in Miami earlier this week, shared a series of photos and videos from the match on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Brilliant from the lads.”
The Beckham children were also pictured alongside their parents in the stands during the match.
In another slide, the former England international celebrated Jude Bellingham’s heroic two-goal effort with a picture of the midfielder captioned “Hey Jude”.
Lady Victoria Beckham shared a picture of herself and her husband watching the game with three of their children, captioning the post: “Special moment tonight in Miami with my family and for our country.”
Sentiments were echoed by Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, who said he wanted to see England bring the World Cup home.
During the tournament, the band’s hit Wonderwall has become an unofficial anthem for England, with the players lining up after matches to sing it back to supporters.
In the aftermath of the win, Gallagher said on X: “We’re winning this WC I don’t know how don’t care respect to all those players manager you gotta make it happen LG.”
Writing on X, the Prince of Wales also congratulated the team on a “top performance in a tough environment” in a personally signed message.
The future king wrote: “Well done England! Top performance in a tough environment. This is a special team.
“Commiserations to a proud Norway team. Onto the semi final… Never in doubt! W”
Olly Murs also joined in the pre-match excitement, as the men’s national football team prepared to face off with the Nordic country at Miami Stadium in Florida.
Murs shared a video of himself singing Wonderwall in the aftermath of the win.
Other stars who attended the game in the US included Mick Jagger, tennis legend Venus Williams, Love Island presenter Maya Jama and comedian Jack Whitehall, who reshared snaps from the stadium after the win.
Crown Prince Haakon of Norway was also spotted in the stands with Fifa president Gianni Infantino.
Rocker Billy Idol posted on X: “Fantastic seeing England reach the semifinal of the World Cup really close though Norway played really well we were lucky in some ways.. I was on the edge of my seat!”
Meanwhile, Piers Morgan paid tribute to England boss Thomas Tuchel, calling him a “natural-born winner who refuses to accept anything but the best”.
Ahead of the match, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, 22, shared a photo of herself in an oversized red and white shirt embellished with the text “Fifa World Cup 2026”, which she accessorised with a black beret, sunglasses and a pair of gold hoop earrings.
Emmy-winner Mike Myers also expressed support for the England team, sharing with a photo of himself saluting wearing the signature red uniform and black bearskin cap donned by the Guards regiments in the UK.
Beneath the post, the actor and comedian, known for smash-hit film franchises such as Shrek and Austin Powers, wrote: “Waiting for tonight’s World Cup match! Go team England.”
Actor Ross Kemp, famed for his role as hardman Grant Mitchell in BBC soap EastEnders, shared a sweaty video from the gym ahead of the match, speaking about “positive vibes”.
The actor said: “We, as a nation now, have to think incredibly positive. Take the doubts out of your mind, think positive, because Norway are going to be a very, very difficult team to beat.
“As a nation, we can do it. We know as a team, they can do it. So we really need to get behind them.
“Positive vibes, send the vibes over the Atlantic to Miami.”
