On Thursday night at Miami's Soho Beach House, David Beckham threw a party to celebrate his new collaboration with the British Fashion Council and Adidas Originals.
It was an Art Basel Miami Beach party, but with a very British twist. The former star soccer player, who is an ambassador for the British Fashion Council, was joined by Chief executive of the British Fashion Council Caroline Rush.
The collaboration is intended to support youth participation in arts-centric industries all over the world.
Beckham looked particularly suave for the occasion, which took place at Cecconi’s in Miami Beach, in chinos, a dark blazer and white Adidas Originals kicks (of course).
The star spoke at the dinner about his love for Miami, a city he's come to call his second home since becoming owner and president of operations of the Miami Major League Soccer’s Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami.
Plenty of Beckham's celebrity friends were on-hand to celebrate the collaboration, including Pharrell Williams, entrepreneur Hannah Bronfman, and model Helena Christensen. DJs Mia Moretti and Chelsea Leyland also dined on the terrace under twinkling lights. Unfortunately, Beckham's wife Victoria did not make an appearance.
After the dinner, DJ Fat Tony took to the decks and got the party started - with even Mr Beckham showing off his moves.
