David Beckham has made his return to social media after a week long break.
As fans and followers alike have waited for the football star, 44, to grace their social media feeds with his presence, they were left stunned when the proud father-of-four appeared to look wildly different.
David took to Instagram this evening to share his support for AGE UK and the immense work they do in order to help the elderly during the coronavirus crisis.
While many followers praised the star for drawing much needed attention to the worthy cause, others were left baffled by the fact that David appeared to look rather 'unrecognisable' since the last post which he shared just seven days previous.
Sporting a scruffy beard and long dark hair, the football star looked worlds away from the clean shaven and buzz-cut haired star fans are used to seeing.
Taking to Twitter to share their disbelief at how much David has managed to change in just under a week, fans begged the star to share his hair growth secrets.
"How on earth has David Beckham managed to grow a full head of hair and a shaggy beard in a matter of days?" questioned one baffled fan.
While a second added: "Lost for words at how good David Beckham looks in his Instagram Stories tonight. That long hair is doing things to me".
"So, David Beckham has just completely transformed into a new person then? I need to know his hair secrets" another quipped.
While a fourth added: "What the hell? He looks wildly different!".
David's return to social media comes after his beloved wife Victoria faced severe backlash after she made the decision to furloughed 30 staff members.
The 46-year-old is not happy that she is being criticised for putting her fashion label staff on furlough, and admitted that she feels like the backlash is over the top.
An insider told The Sun: "Victoria's telling friends that despite her birthday, it's been the 'worst week'.
"She doesn't think it's fair she's getting slammed for something a lot of companies and businesses are doing. She thinks it's unfair and had no idea the backlash would be this bad."
After the news broke that Victoria had informed her fashion staff that they were being furloughed outspoken Piers Morgan also lashed out at the wealthy star.
Piers insisted that Posh Spice's decision nearly made him "puke".
