David Beckham extends public show of support to Brooklyn as son feels 'isolated' amid feud

David Beckham showed his support for Brooklyn publicly amid reports his son is feeling “isolated” amid their family feud.

The aspiring chef, 26, and his actress wife Nicola Peltz, 30, live in Los Angeles while his famous parents and siblings Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, split their time between London and the Cotswolds.

The eldest Beckham child feels particularly alone when “big family milestones approach”, while his parents David and Victoria are “desperate” to reconcile, sources claimed earlier this week.

Amid the swirling rumours, David shared his pride in Brooklyn by “liking” his son’s video on Instagram on Tuesday evening.

The entrepreneur promoted his hot sauce brand, Cloud23, by sharing a video of himself cooking chicken using the condiment.

David was quick to “like” the post, while Brooklyn’s grandmother Sandra commented, “perfect,” and added love heart and clapping hands emojis.

The gesture comes after reports that Brooklyn “hasn’t felt the same about his family for months”.

“It’s hard to see any improvement on the relationship between either side, even though Victoria and David are desperate for things to get better,” an insider told Metro on Monday.

The source added that pals think Harper’s 14th birthday on Thursday will prompt Brooklyn to get in touch.

“With Harper’s birthday coming up, friends are hoping Brooklyn will reach out on her special day and there will be at least a small olive branch,” they stated.

“When big family milestones approach, he often feels quite isolated over in Los Angeles, but he’s keen to show that he loves his family deeply.”

However, a source close to Brooklyn shut down reports that he feels “isolated”.

They told The Standard: “This is simply false. Brooklyn is happy living in Los Angeles, focused on his career, and building a life with Nicola.”

Brooklyn and Nicola have sparked rift rumours by missing several major family events in recent months, including Victoria’s 51st birthday in April and David’s four extravagant 50th birthday celebrations a month later.

Brooklyn intensified the gossip by saying he will “always choose” Nicola in a “pointed message” to his partner in June.

“My whole world x I will love you forever x,” he wrote alongside a video of them riding a motorcycle.

“I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby.”

Football legend David is said to be worried the feud with Brooklyn could mirror his own estrangement from his father Ted in 2005.

The pair were not on speaking terms until Ted, 77, suffered a near-death experience in 2007 and they reconciled.
