It was a meeting of two absolute legends when David Beckham was at the Barras earlier this week.
As reported by Glasgow Live, celebrity spotters were all in a tizzy when the football megastar was spotted cutting about the city on Wednesday.
The 44-year-old was in Scotland doing some brand partner work with the Haig Club whisky firm and he paid a wee visit to Glasgow while he was up here.
After enjoying a spot of lunch at Finnieston favourite Crabshakk, Posh's husband went for a night on the town in the east end, and delighted staff at The Gate have just revealed a taste of their experience.
They said: "It was our pleasure to host David Beckham at The Gate this week to talk about the inspiration behind our pub and all things Haig Club.
"He didn’t have a toastie but promises he’ll be back soon."
And if you don't believe their promises he'll return anytime soon, perhaps you should take it from the horse's mouth, as he only went and replied!
He said: "Thanks for having me over mate and great place. See you soon Andy!"
