David Beckham celebrates Lionesses win with daughter Harper

The Lionesses Fifa Women's World Cup campaign is going from strength to strength and seems to be inspiring a footballer in the making.

David Beckham headed out to France to see Phil Neville's side make it into the semi-finals with a 3-0 win over Norway during Thursday's quarter-final clash but it was his seven-year-old daughter that stole the limelight.

Harper Beckham was kitted out in a full England strip as she watched the likes of Manchester City's Steph Houghton, Jill Scott and Nikita Parris take to the pitch.

The youngster and her dad were joined by grandmother Sandra at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre and they were clearly loving what they were seeing.

Following the third and final goal of the match, Manchester United legend Becks was keen to celebrate with high-fives, but left poor Harper hanging in the process.

But after giving her dad a tap, she finally played her part in the celebration.

The 44-year-old was also keen to share his trip on social media.

David shared a photo to his 56.6m Instagram followers of himself and football-mad Harper meeting the team before the match.

Alongside the winning snap, the footballing ace wrote: "So lucky to get to see the girls before tonight’s big game... As a player I know exactly what it means to play in these competitions and to have the support from home which means so much..

"I just want to say how very proud we all are of every single player, they are doing amazingly well and the whole country is behind them !!!

"As you can see Harper was so excited to meet the team & is so excited for the game.... Come On England,"

Whilst proudly wearing her England shirt and football in hand, the schoolgirl says to the camera: "Well Done Lionesses. We're so proud of you!"
