David Beckham banned from driving for six months after using phone at wheel of £100k Bentley

David Beckham has been given a six month driving ban after using his phone at the wheel of his £100,000 Bentley.

The former Manchester United , Real Madrid and LA Galaxy star received six points on his licence at Bromley Magistrates Court today.

It comes after he was caught with the phone in London's West End.

Beckham, 43, admitted using the device while driving in Great Portland Street on November 21 last year.

His case was originally set to be dealt with at Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court last month, but was postponed until today when the star confirmed he would attend.

The former England captain was charged last month after a member of the public spotted him on the phone while driving his Bentley.
