Speaking about his inspiration behind the esports academy, David recently admitted that he credited his success partly to own experience in an academy growing up. He also revealed that the mission around the esports team was to inspire and educate the next generation of gamers.

"An esports team for me was a real opportunity to be part of that world, to provide something for kids. They want to be pro, they want to be part of this world. I've got so much joy from this," David recently said in an interview with TN25.

“I was very lucky to have been part of a very successful academy system when I was growing up. Academy systems are so important. You gain so many life skills from it,’ he added.
