David and Victoria Beckham quit the US and return to live in £6million UK estate

After speculation that they were going to make their US residency permanent, David and Victoria Beckham have reportedly returned to the UK.

The power couple had spent four months stateside after flying out to Florida on Christmas day along with their youngest kids Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

As well as David's Inter Miami FC commitments, the duo had been spotted mixing with their A-list friends during their time across the pond.

Posh Spice had even heated up the rumours of a stateside stay when she posted to Instagram : "I love Miami," and "This place is everything."

But it now appears that David has got his way to return home and the family were just making the most of Miami's warmer weather and relaxed Covid-19 restrictions.

Reports suggest that they have secretly flown back to the UK to take up residency at their dreamy £6 million estate in the Cotswolds which has a lake that would cover three quarters of a football pitch.

A source has told The Sun that the pair intend to spend their time between their Cotswolds property and London where they have various business ventures.

The source revealed that the family "loved their time in the US" but said they will always class the UK as their home.

The source went on to say that the period of isolation because of their trip is now over and the kids are preparing to return to school.

However, one Beckham that won't be returning to the UK is Brooklyn.

The 22-year-old moved to Miami last year to be with his fiancée Nicola Peltz.

The source added: "Victoria feels sad to be away from him but he’s grown up now and living his own life," before saying that she hopes her son will be able to return home for a visit in the near future.

Second eldest son Romeo, 18, is expected to move on soon too as he grows closer to partner Mia Regan.

However, the 18-year-old model is also UK-based so it's not expected the pair will flee the nest too far.

The Mirror has contacted the Victoria and David's representatives for comment.
