Dave parties with footballers at Stormzy's #Merky Festival after bringing Alex Mann on stage at Glastonbury for Thiago Silva rap

Manchester United fans have been pleading with rapper Dave to get Jadon Sancho to sign with the club after the pair were spotted partying together in Ibiza.

Dave, who is a fan of the football club, posted a picture on Twitter of him with the Borussia Dortmund star at Stormzy’s #Merky Festival with the caption ‘Money Moves’ on Monday.

As reported by the Evening Standard, Sancho is among Man United's top targets this summer, although Dortmund are determined to keep hold of their player having already lost Christian Pulisic to Chelsea.

But football fans are now asking Dave to use his celebrity influence to encourage a signing, having previously been credited with helping the Red Devils bag Aaron Wan-Bissaka for £50 million from Crystal Palace after the two exchanged messages on Instagram.

One fan joked on Twitter: “Santan Dave doing God’s work with Jadon Sancho.”

“Jadon Sancho with Dave today. You know what’s next,” posted another user.

The South London rapper’s Glastonbury performance hit headlines this week after young fan Alex Mann rapped his and AJ Tracey’s song Thiago Silva word-perfect.

Speaking to the Guardian after his unexpected moment in the spotlight, the 15-year-old said that he was "so nervous" after being picked from the crowd to fill in for AJ Tracey but felt "so good" after nailing the lyrics.

"I walked off stage and the security guards took me back down and it was just amazing," he told The Guardian. "The way security brought me back down was in front of everyone and I was walking past people who were screaming my name.

"I had the best time of my life."

Dave later joked that he could retire after the PSG star Silva praised his track.

He wrote on Twitter: “Thiago Silva has recognised Thiago Silva and now I have decided to retire. My work here is done.”
