Davante Adams still not practicing, Aaron Rodgers added to crowded Packers injury report

The Green Bay Packers have some injury concerns heading into Monday night’s visit from the Detroit Lions.

Top wide receiver Davante Adams remains sidelined from practice with a toe injury he suffered in Week 4. Adams missed the Week 5 win over Dallas and has not done any practice activities throughout the first practice sessions this week as well.

Packers beat writer Rob Demovsky snapped a photo of Adams in street clothes along the sidelines of Thursday’s practice. He is wearing regular shoes despite suffering from what has been diagnosed as a turf toe injury. There is no timetable on his return.

Adams himself seems cautious about pushing his return to the field.

We’re just really trying to pace it at this point,” Adams said via the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I can’t really tell you when I’m going to play. It doesn’t feel how I want it to feel at the moment, but we definitely have time, so we’ll just kind of play this thing (out), and I know Mr. (Matt) LaFleur will definitely be able to take care of any other questions regarding that.”

In addition to Adams, there was another prominent name on the Packers injury list from Thursday.

All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers was limited in practice with a knee injury. This is a new development; Rodgers appeared just fine in the win over Dallas on Sunday.
