Davante Adams, Blake Martinez hosting ‘Green and Gold’ charity softball game on June 1

Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams and linebacker Blake Martinez will be hosting the “Green and Gold” charity softball game on Saturday, June 1 at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Adams and the Packers offense will take on Martinez and the Packers defense in the annual offseason contest. Proceeds from the event will be donated to several charities in the greater Green Bay and northwestern Wisconsin area.

Martinez is replacing Clay Matthews as one of the hosts of the game, which has been put on every year since 1994.

A majority of players on both offense and defense have already committed to participating in this year’s event, including running back Aaron Jones, receiver Geronimo Allison, cornerback Kevin King and newcomer Adrian Amos.

The day at Fox Cities Stadium will also include opportunities for autographs and meet and greets with the participating players. There will also be a home run derby to determine the biggest hitter on the roster.

The game will begin at 12:05 p.m. with events at the stadium beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Tickets to the event can be purchased here.
