Daughter's emotional plea for mum to return after going missing from Motherwell

A daughter has made an emotional appeal for the safe return of her mum who has gone missing from Motherwell.

Now officers are asking for help in tracing the 59-year-old.

Joan Suttie was last seen within her home address in Wood Cresecent, Motherwell, around 4pm on September 27.

She is described as 5ft 2in tall, with short blonde hair and brown eyes.

When last seen she is thought to have been wearing a cream coloured jumper, black bottoms and white trainers.

In a post online, her daughter wrote: “Please, please, please come home mum.

“We are so worried about you, I promise you’ll be okay and we can sort anything that is wrong out.

“Please mum, we need you home safe and well.”

Another daughter simply posted: “Get home mum!”

Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101.

Information can be left via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
