A woman who secretly dyed her dog bright green captured the moment he showed off his new look to her mum - and her reaction is absolutely priceless.
Caitlin O'Connor, 20, was bored in lockdown so decided to give Ted a new look just in time for his birthday,
As her mum Caroline was busy cooking in the kitchen, Caitlin took Ted to the bathroom and covered him in semi-permanent green pet dye.
Caitlin, who lives in Northern Ireland, said: "I’ve seen people dye their dog’s green before and I thought it would be a good idea to dye him green.
"My mother idolises my dog and treats Ted like a human, I knew she would react crazy if I did it behind her back.

"He’s more cherished than me, she bought him a birthday cake and didn’t get me one for mine."
And she was completely right to assume her mum would be shocked, and she captured the brilliant moment on camera.
The clip shows a very, very green Ted running excitedly into the kitchen to see his mum, who is completely shocked.
She screams: "What did you do to Ted? Caitlin, what is that green stuff?"

"Dog hair dye?" as Caitlin nervously giggles.
She continued: "I did it in the bathroom upstairs while she was doing dinner because I knew she wouldn’t come upstairs.
"It's a semi-permanent dye safe for dogs so it lasts for 10 washes.

"You could tell that Ted knew something was going on, when he walked into the kitchen he turned around and looked at my mum like he knew something had happened."
Meanwhile, Caitlin's mum said: "I was in shock.
"I did not have a clue that it was happening.

"She planned the whole thing.
"My reaction is speechless.
"I couldn’t speak, I was shocked.
"I couldn’t believe that she did it.

"I find it hilarious, it’s safe dye and it was fine.
"I always said my children could be creative and express themselves freely but I think they took it a bit too far".
Caitlin shared to Twitter with the caption: "Highlight of lockdown: dyeing the dog green without my mammy knowing".
And since then the video has gone viral, receiving over 440,000 views and 17,000 likes.
But, that's not the only lockdown dog grooming blunder we've seen.
One woman, Hermione Olivia, purchased a pair of dog grooming scissors online after the lockdown was implemented to cut her adorable Pomeranian's hair.
Her once fluffy pooch, ended it up looking somewhat like a bunny rabbit or a kangeroo, with it's short trim and pointy ears.
