The devastated daughter of a Paisley man who died following a home blaze has penned a heartbreaking tribute.
Among cards and flowers left outside John Dalziel’s home is a poem written by his grief-stricken child.
She wrote: “If I could write a story, it would be the greatest ever told, of a kind and loving dad who had a heart of gold.
“I could write a million pages, but still would be unable to say, just how much I love and miss you every single day.”
John, 47, died at his Whites Bridge Avenue home on Thursday night.

Flowers and tributes appeared near his house over the weekend, with pals also paying tribute on social media.
One friend wrote: “Poor John, such a great big guy, known him for 20 years, my thoughts are with his family at this sad time, will miss bumping into you John. Rest in peace.”
Another added: “I knew John from school. I remember him as a lovely quiet guy. So sad.”
Another friend took to Facebook to pay tribute to him.
He added: “Shocking ,man. Legend of a guy back in the day.”

A 38-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with John's death.
He is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, May 11.
A full report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
