A heartbroken daughter of a dad-of-four who was killed in a collision in Mulhuddart has paid a touching tribute to him on Facebook.
Jonathan Egan, 45, from Tyrrellstown tragically died after the motorbike he was driving collided with a car on the Old Navan Road on Wednesday night.
The incident took place at the entrance of Saddlers Estate with the road between there and Coolmine Cottages left closed for several hours while emergency services attended the scene.
His daughter Katie paid a touching tribute on Facebook to her dad who she describes as the "funniest person and most caring father anyone could ask for".
She added: "Never thought I'd see the day that you would be gone from me life, think about you all the time.
"Never forget all our good memories together absolutely broken hearted. Love you so much dad gone but never forgotten."
She also shared a picture of Jonathan alongside the tribute with a love heart beside his face.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses who were in the area at the time especially a pedal cyclist who was also at the scene and witnessed the collision.
