Daughter issues desperate plea to find mum who vanished after independence march in Edinburgh

A mum who went missing after a rally in Edinburgh yesterday has been found safe and well.

Amanda Brown attended the All Under One Banner and had not been seen following the march.

The 37-year-old, from , hadn't been in touch with her family and they grew increasingly concerned about her safety.

Her daughter Shannon said in a Facebook post it's "not like her" to go missing and not .

She wrote: "Has anyone seen my mum!!!

"She went to Edinburgh independence rally yesterday and hasn’t came home, phone is off and she hasn’t been in touch

"This is not like her! Please share."

First Minister also urged people to get in touch if they have seen Amanda.

She tweeted: "If you saw or were with Amanda after the independence march yesterday, please get in touch with her daughter or the police.

"Her family are understandably very worried about her."

Amanda Brown was found safe and well just before 2pm today.
