Daughter issues desperate appeal after Glasgow mum goes missing in Turkey

A Scottish girl has issued a desperate appeal after her mum went missing in Turkey.

Carolann Davis, from Glasgow , was last seen in the early hours on Monday outside the Blue Bay Hotel in Marmaris.

Her daughter Cherhys Davis said her mum left without her phone and money, something she claims is out of character.

Carolann was wearing a green top and white shorts when she disappeared.

In a Facebook post asking for help in tracing her mum’s whereabouts, Cherhys said: “My mum Carolann Davis was last seen in Marmaris in Turkey at 3.30am outside the Blue Bay Hotel.

"She was wearing a green top and white shorts.

"It’s just to see if anyone thinks they may have saw her or anyone you know in Turkey that might be around this area. Please contact me as soon as you can and share this to find her.

“We are worried sick, she has left without her phone or money, this is out of character.”

Police in Marmaris, The Foreign Office and the British Embassy in Turkey have been contacted about Carolann's disappearance.
