A road in Gedling will close temporarily in the New Year.
Stoke Lane will close from 8pm on Monday, January 18, until 1am the next morning.
It will also shut overnight from 10pm on Thursday, January 21, until 7am the next day.
The road will be closed 20 metres either side of a level crossing.
Site preparation works will take place in the area.
Officials from Via East Midlands have advised motorists to take alternative routes.
In a bulletin from Via East Midlands the following routes are advised:
- South-westbound traffic via Stoke Lane - Burton Road – Manor Road – Station Road – Victoria Road – Wright Street – Kenrick Street – Chandos Street and Emerys Road
- North-eastbound traffic via Emerys Road – Chandos Street – Morris Street – Forester Street – Victoria Road – Station Road – Manor Road and Burton Road
