Date announced for Tottenham's fourth round FA Cup tie away at Wycombe Wanderers

Jose Mourinho and his Tottenham side have now discovered when they will take on Wycombe Wanderers in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Defeating non-league side Marine 5-0 on Sunday evening, the Lilywhites will now travel to Adams Park on Monday, January 25, with the game taking place at 7.45pm.

It means that Spurs will have plenty of time to prepare for the cup fixture as their previous game is away at Sheffield United this Sunday.

However, it then makes life a bit more difficult for the team in terms of preparing for their crunch Premier League game against Liverpool which is due to take place on the Thursday.

Mourinho and his squad will only have two days to prepare for the game and he will no doubt have plenty to say about it when he speaks to the press on Friday afternoon.

As he has done in the cup so far this season, the head coach is likely to shake things up for the game at Wycombe and it means the players on the periphery of the first team will likely get the nod against their Championship opponents.

If Spurs do advance beyond the Chariboys then they will face either Everton or Sheffield Wednesday away in the fifth round of the competition.
