Date and times for Nottingham's biggest bonfire night and fireworks party on Forest Recreation Ground confirmed

The date for the city's biggest annual bonfire and fireworks party on the Forest Recreation Ground has been confirmed.

And as is traditional, rather than holding it at a weekend, this year it is once again on bonfire night itself - Tuesday, November 5.

Times of the two firework displays have also been confirmed.

The earlier children's event is at 7.15pm.

The main event is at 9pm.

Of course, both are free.

There will be plenty of food stalls and fairground rides during the evening.

The bonfire, the largest in East Midlands, will be lit at 7.45pm.

Visitors are advised not to bring fireworks or sparklers to the event.
