Datadog shot up late Wednesday after S&P Global said the app monitoring software maker will join the S&P 500 index before the open on July 9, replacing Juniper Networks. Hewlett Packard Enterprise closed its Juniper Networks deal on Wednesday.
Datadog stock jumped 10.9% to 149.70 in after-hours trading, which would be a five-month high. Shares rose 2% to 135.01 in Wednesday's trading. DDOG stock hit a 52-week low of 81.63 on April 7.
