AFTER the year we've all experienced in 2020, everyone is hopeful for a fresh start in 2021.
Dashville has certainly done its best to kick-off the new year in style by announcing a stacked line-up for its three-night A Fresh Start concert series.
Dashville favourite William Crighton & The Bellbird Rats will headline the December 31 show at the Lower Belford property alongside Newcastle punks Bloody Hell, Brisbane blues-rock trio The Blackwater Fever and University of Newcastle reigning band comp champions Viragos.
New Year's Day celebrations will feature Central Coast siblings Little Quirks, Dashville's chief Matt Johnston's band Magpie Diaries, Geelong's Bones and Jones and the all-star Dashville Progress Society.
The concert series finishes on January 2 with psych-country legends Wagons, blues and roots duo Hat Fitz and Cara, Hunter female collective Huntress and '90s rockers Front End Loader.
Dashville has suffered a difficult year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Firstly The Gum Ball music festival was cancelled in April and then Dashville Skyline in October was downgraded to a series of concerts called Sky Ball.
With NSW COVID-19 restrictions easing to allow outdoor music venues to host up to 3000 people at performances, Dashville is also expected to return to its full capacity for A Fresh Start.
Besides the live music, A Fresh Start will also feature COVID-safe creative workshops, kids activities and a new installation, crowned the Splashville Waterpark.
Tickets are available for one or all three shows.
