
POLICE are examining the circumstances of a reported head-on crash between a Toyota Hiace van and a Holden Barina that left one driver dead and the other in a serious condition.
Emergency services were called to Woy Woy Road at Woy Woy Bay about 4pm on Wednesday after reports the vehicles hit head-on.
The 52-year-old driver of the van suffered multiple fractures. He was flown to the Royal North Shore Hospital and remains in a stable condition, police said.
The Barina's male driver, 51, suffered fatal injuries.
