Daryl Horgan joins Championship newcomers Wycombe Wanderers on two-year deal

Daryl Horgan has joined Championship newcomers Wycombe Wanderers on a two-year deal.

The Republic of Ireland international and former Dundalk winger makes the move from SPL side Hibernian.

Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth said he was tracking Horgan since January 2018 when he shone against them playing for Preston.

Ainsworth said today: “Daryl is someone we’ve kept an eye on ever since he put in that outstanding performance against us.

“We believe he’s ideally suited to the way we play. He’s quick, he’s direct, he loves to run at the defence and he’s got a strong goal threat.

“I’m excited to see what he can do for us and his arrival gives us extra firepower going forward as we look forward to starting on the front foot in the Championship.”
