Northern Ireland's Daryl Gurney has been knocked out of the PDC World Darts Championship after losing to Glen Durrant.
The number six seed suffered a 4-2 defeat to exit at the third round stage.
Durrant, 49, took the first set 3-1 before Gurney hit back in the second.
They traded the next two sets before the Englishman - competing in his first PDC World Championship - claimed the next to book his spot in the last 16 at Alexandra Palace.
Three-time BDO World Champ Durrant hit five maximums, averaged 98 and managed four ton-plus checkouts to down the much-fancied Derry native.
Gurney's quest for world glory goes on after another disappointingly early exit at Ally Pally.
He also fell at the third round stage last year after a second-round exit in 2018. His best showing saw him reach the quarter-final in 2017.
