DART delays in South Dublin after deer spotted walking around tracks

Irish Rail has experienced delays this morning after a deer made its way onto to the tracks in South Dublin.

All services going through Dalkey were put on hold as staff went out to try and get the animal to safety.

Commuter Ronan O'Keeffe took a snap of the deer as it walked around the platform at Glenegeary station.

He said: "The young deer is still on the southbound platform in Glenageary station. Looks very disoriented."

Irish Rail replied saying workers were on-route and will hopefully get it back in the fields soon.
