Darren Till breaks his silence after shock UFC London defeat to Jorge Masvidal: 'I’ll be back a different animal'

Darren Till has vowed to come back a “different animal” after his shock defeat to Jorge Masvidal at UFC London.

Till, 26, suffered a devastating second round knockout at the O2 Arena last Saturday – his second consecutive defeat after losing to Tyron Woodley last September.

The Liverpudlian had previously held an unbeaten record in UFC and having had time to reflect during a skiing trip in Canada, admits he may not have been fully focused over the last year.

“Last Saturday was a tough night against a strong opponent,” Till wrote on Instagram.

“Fight game is a tough one. Few things need refocusing now, feel like I lost me self the past year and haven’t been fully focused to my craft!

“I’ve had a week in this amazing place Canada to revitalise my thoughts. I’ll be back a different animal.”

Till has now slipped to seventh in the UFC’s official welterweight rankings.
