Darren Sproles deal with Eagles is for 1-year, $1 million with $300K signing bonus

Darren Sproles has officially returned to the Philadelphia Eagles on Wednesday, signing his contract just minutes after reporting to training camp.

The numbers are out, and according to Ian Rapoport, Sproles new deal is for one final year, at $1 million, with a $300k signing bonus.

Sproles finished the 2018 regular season with 29 carries for 120 yards and a touchdown, along with 15 receptions for 160 yards and two scores after missing the bulk of the season with a hamstring injury. He also returned 10 punts for 83 yards.

Sproles leads all active players with 19,520 all-purpose yards, which ranks sixth in NFL history. With 162 more yards, he would tie former Oakland Raiders wide receiver/punt returner, Tim Brown.
