Darren Collison to return to play vs. Thunder after 3-game absence

Indiana Pacers point guard Darren Collison will start on Wednesday night on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to Jeremiah Johnson of Fox Sports Indiana.

Collison has missed the past three games for the Pacers due to a right quad contusion. He suffered the injury on March 18 against the Portland Trail Blazers.

With Collison back in the starting lineup on Wednesday, point guard Cory Joseph will return to his normal role off of the bench for head coach Nate McMillan.

Collison is averaging 11.3 points, six rebounds and 3.1 assists this season for the Pacers while he has shot 41.6 percent from 3-point range. Collison recorded 17 points in a win against the Thunder on March 14.

The Thunder are favored by 6.5 points in the matchup.
