Darren Clarke hits sensational hole-in-one on Champions Tour

Darren Clarke made a sensational hole-in-one en route to a final round 70 at the Cologuard Classic on Sunday.

The Dungannon man hit a six iron on the 16th hole and the ball only had eyes for the flag.

It took three bounces on the green before hitting the flag stick and settling in the bottom of the cup.

Clarke, 51, is plying his trade on the Champions Tour now and ended up finishing in a tie for 24th place at the event in Tuscon, Arizona.

The tournament was won by Bernhard Langer, 62, whose victory was incredibly his 41st on the tour.

Clarke will return to Royal St. George's this summer for the Open Championship - where he lifted the Claret Jug in 2011.
