Darrell Clarke has refused to be drawn on the future of Bolton Wanderers loanee Dennis Politic amid the contract at his parent club poised to run out next summer but believes the winger has settled well at Port Vale.
Politic, 21, is on loan at the League Two side for the season from Wanderers and has played six times for the Valiants and scored twice in all compeitions so far after working his way into Clarke's team.
The Romanian's future at the end of the campaign is up in the air at present as his deal runs out at the University of Bolton Stadium next summer.

A fresh deal was offered to the winger earlier on this season, but was not taken up.
Speaking recently, Bolton boss Ian Evatt told the Manchester Evening News there had been no further dialogue with the player or his agent on the matter.
He said: "I don’t think we’ve had any further dialogue with Dennis or his agent. As I said, we made him an offer.
"That offer was politely declined so for now we’ll play it by ear and see how things develop."
Valiants boss Clarke has now been asked about Politic's future and made it clear that the winger remains a Bolton player and is merely on loan at Vale Park.
But he has been impressed with Politic's attitude and been pleased with how the attacker has done.
And, like Evatt, he will wait to see how things develop over time with Politic's future.
Clarke told StokeOnTrentLive: “I am not going to speak about another club. He is their player and is on loan with us.
“What I will say is his attitude has been exemplary, he has done very well and we will enjoy him while we have got him.
“But I am certainly not getting involved in any individual contract issues.
“He is their player. We are pleased to have him and pleased he is working hard and has settled into the group well. We’ll see how things develop.”
